Jeff Gum
Jeff Gum served for ten years as a US Navy SEAL at SEAL Team 5 with two deployments to the Middle East and as Lead Petty Officer of the SEAL Combatives Program and course manager/ Instructor for Range Safety Operations at Advanced Training Command. He is a sniper, breacher, source handler, hrst/castmaster, master training specialist, and holds various other NSW quals and is currently an operator in the Special Missions Unit of the Florida State Guard.
He earned his B.S. in Business Management at University of Central Florida and his MBA at UCLA Anderson where he founded Sunga Life, an athleisure brand all about freedom, and is a co-founder of Train Club. He is a Scientific Master Diver with the Force Blue Team saving the Coral Reef in Florida and on the board of the Adaptive Training Foundation and President of the Miami Navy League.
The Cadre
Lieutenant Commander Kaj Larsen served 13 years as a Navy SEAL officer. He deployed multiple times in the Global War on Terror in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and South America leading teams of Special Operations personnel in clandestine missions overseas. He most recently returned from Ukraine where he was assisting the Ukrainian military in their defense of their homeland. He continues his service as a Commander of the Special Missions Unit of the Florida State Guard.
Post active duty Kaj attended graduate school at Harvard University and began a career in media as a 3 time Emmy nominated correspondent and producer. He started two of the largest Veteran Service organizations in the country, The Mission Continues and Team Rubicon. As an entrepreneur, Kaj founded Guild Financial, a fintech company for military veterans. Guild was acquired in 2023 by Siebert Financial (SIEB). Kaj continues to work as head of Military Investing and Communications at Siebert. When not running the company he volunteers his time as a science diver for Force Blue. He resides in Los Angeles, and Miami, but feels most at home in the ocean.
Kaj Larsen
Mitch Aguiar is a 10 year Navy SEAL Veteran, Professional MMA Fighter and Entrepreneur. Mitch joined the Navy in 2008 and went straight to BUDS (Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL) training and graduated with BUDS class 273. After he had completed SEAL training he was stationed at SEAL Team 10 in Virginia Beach, where he did multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan as well as Europe.
In 2012 Mitch aka the Smashin’ Frog had started competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as Mixed Martial Arts as a hobby and quickly found success in both.
In 2017 Mitch launched his first business, MASF(Mitch Aguiar Smashin’ Frog) Apparel with the intention of selling his fight shirts to his supporters.
In January of 2018 Mitch launched his supplement company MASF Supplements. By 2020 MASF Supplements had become a successful company which allowed Mitch to fund and launch his own charity Adopt A Cop BJJ, a 501(C)3 that allows for Police officers anywhere in the United States to attend any Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy of their choosing and learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu free of charge until the rank of Blue belt.
In 2022 Mitch launched a second brand called Violent Hippie which sells apparel, Jiu Jitsu Gi's and Organic CBD. That same year Mitch opened up the Violent Hippie Jiu Jitsu Academy which offers Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and mixed martial arts training to its members.
